I Have A Dream, Too!

Do you pay attention in how fast time goes by? Before we realize, times has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The main cause is because our dreams are just dreams and haven’t yet become goals. Life is not like a Nintendo game. You must live your life because you only live once. The only way to achievement our goals is to know what we want to plan in life and how to get it. Therefore, we must fulfill those precious one called DREAMS during the rest of our life.
I have also a dream in life. Whenever my parent asked me if what I will want to be in the future, I simply answer “I want to be a teacher…. I want to be a policeman”. I even dreamed to be like Dr. Jose Rizal someday but it seemed to be impossible because Dr. Jose Rizal is such an extra-talented and intelligent man.  But if you will ask me know, I will tell you that I have many dreams.
First, I want to become a Certified Public Accountant so that I can help my family who guides me all the way in my journey. For me to be able to achieve this career in life, I will have to study more than ever and to have a high grades. It doesn't matter even if my parents aren't proud of me but the important is I am doing the right thing.
Second, one of my dreams is to travel around the world - to go to places like Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, America at Spain. Yes, you can call me ambitious but I don’t care. I have always been curious about other culture and the differences between the people in the different places. Furthermore, I would love to eat different kinds of food.

But my goal for this time is to achieve in getting my diploma – one of the keys to accomplish my goals and dreams. After being a professional, I will then want to start a family with my wife together with our two children.

Reflection 101

It has been nine months since I first set foot in the world of being a senior student. Whether I like it or not, it is already 55 days before we’ll be marching in the four colossal walls of Ilocos Sur National High School’s archival gymnasium Months, weeks, days and hours have passed which means I am getting closer to the finale of High School Life- Graduation.
Remembering those beautiful memories of the past make my heart beats faster, of the joy that at last, the dreams I have dreaming has come to reality. I also feel lonely because some of my friends will be leaving which means they will not be studying in the university where I am going. Reminiscing all these make me so weepy and afraid at the same time. I’m afraid future, of what will happen to me.
Here’s a poem which may tickle your hearts.

Life?
It is a drama consisting of one or
two acts
This may be a comedy
Although while being so,
It will not be wanting of tears;
Or it may be a tragedy
Although while being so,
It will not be lacking in laughter.
In both case, it does not cease to
be a drama
Nor does it cease to life!

The child is born, his first greeting
Is an unconscious cry
He feels not what he cries
Nor he cries what he feels.
In the crevices, selfishly left
By the smile and tears of his youth,
The hands of destiny conceals
Within the latent gun-powder
And the hidden happiness which
may explode
In the midst of tragedy,
And laughter in the midst of
comedy.

The drama has begun, and without
knowing
One act has just ended….

LIFE ALTERS WHEN ITS ALTERATION FINDS

“There’s always a time and chance for someone to change, for that someone to be a better person. The only thing we can give to help is to give that someone the time and the chance. “– Embroy’

There’s only one permanent thing in this world – CHANGE. In our world full of surprises, everything changes. Like for example, look at the green grasses at your garden, don’t you notice that they are growing day by day? Look at the small plant you planted at your back yard, it had grown then it will bear delicious fruits. Go and grab your photo album in your cabinet, look those pictures when you were still young then after it go look at yourself in the front of the mirror and you will see the big  difference and change of what had happen in you. These are the few evidences of changes in this world. Change is really important in our life. It may give us a new life and chance to change our downbeat behavior.
Everything happens for a reason. Maybe there are times that you are asking why you failed to pass the test or why you lose in a contest. It is not because He planned what had happen to you but we failed to the right thing – to change. With these failures, it is a start for us to change our dad attitude, our ways. Change should be evident in one of us if we want a better life. Discipline is one of the important factors to consider if we want to change for the betterment.            We must change our bad attitudes and habits as early we can because as we all know there’s no turning back if you’re too late to make it. Together we can make a difference!

We are now living in a modernize country so we must not forget those cultural dances and our traditions because these are one of our identity here in Ilocos Sur. We have a lot of traditions and because of that, Ilocos Sur became famous.
In our place, Ilocos, we Ilocano have different and very unique products. In every municipality in our province, they have their very own products and some of them are can be exported in the other places. And this is the reason why tourists were attracted in our places not only for the historical places that can be seen in our region. And during January 31 until February 6, Ilocano celebrate the KANNAWIDAN YLOCO FESTIVAL to much more introduce the products that are made by the artistic and creative hands of Ilocanos. And this is the main purpose why they are celebrating Kannawidan Yloco Festival. Kannawidan Ilocos Festival means feast of practices in Ilocos.

Kannawidan is very important also because through this Kannawidan Ilocos Festival, we are preserving and sustaining our old traditions, attractive products and practices to promote our tourism industry that redound for the increase of the demand of our products, create more job opportunities and generate more income. New Year, New Me.

8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 … HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

It is a part of our tradition to celebrate New Year. It is the time for us to bid goodbye to 2013 and say hello to 2014. Some of the Filipinos will celebrate this event by making noise, lighting up the sky with fireworks, filling our stomach with food and many more. But the most important thing for me to do for now is to change. To change for the BETTER and not for the WORSE, right? We can’t deny that we have made some resolutions for this New Year. But is it matter if we make our resolutions every New Year? For me, it doesn’t matter . You can change your bad attitudes anytime of the year. There’s no need of making those resolutions on paper if you can do it. As I had observed, I didn’t change a lot. Maybe some of my attitudes changed but I think it change for the worse and not for the better. This year, I used to make my home works at school instead of doing it in our house. I also used not to submit my requirements on time. But as we look onto the bright side, I became more sociable. I learned how to voice out what I feel.  But my goal for this year is to spend more time on the things/ persons that are important to me – my family and studies. I want to focus my attention on them and lessen in using gadgets. This year, I’ll try to study harder so that I can be able to achieve my dreams in life and most of all I’ll try to change my improper lifestyle so that I can be able to have a desirable figure.

I just don't like it. I love it

"Every second counts."

Time tends to move faster and faster. And, I’m finding hard to catch up with it. Three-fourths of my last year in high school had ended. Eight months of laughter, gimmicks, and trips will soon come into an end and it will be just a part of my sweet memories. It is very hard to accept that I am about to leave the four corners of the room where I spent most of my time with friends, IV-Maxwell. Life is just like a coconut tree. Despite of the different phenomena, the coconut tree stays strong. Like for example, in life, we all know that it is filled with menace and frustrations. We don’t know what will happen next but the only thing that we can do is to keep on going.
I was asking myself “Did I make the most out of this time? Most especially, that I have only one quarter left to stay in high school.” This grading period gives me more knowledge in making a webpage. Because it’s teaches us how to create a links to the webpage that we had already done. And most especially, I find myself easily in making our project because it helps me in making of the different the exercises that we had done in the last grading period. And in this grading period, it gives me a lot of improvement because I submitted my project on time and also my draft I posted it on time and not doing it on rush not just like what I am doing in the past grading period. And now I think I had improved myself from the first grading period up to now. So thank God I make it!

Moving on, I will still try more harder to achieve higher. Listening to every instructions of my teacher will help me do that. I wish I will acquire more knowledge about blog next grading period.
